Futures are partnering with a leading manufacturer  in their search for a Graduate Project Engineer to support the delivery of technically complex engineering projects. This role is designed for an engineering graduate who wants early responsibility, structured development and exposure to real-world engineering challenges within a fast-moving project environment.
As a Graduate Project Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on involvement across design, validation, manufacturing and customer interaction, while developing the core skills required for a long-term career in project engineering.
Graduate Project Engineer – Role & Responsibilities
Support the delivery of engineering projects from customer requirements through to implementation
Assist in translating customer needs into clear technical specifications
Contribute to planning and tracking project timelines, cost and quality targets
Coordinate with design, validation and manufacturing teams
Support DFMEA activities and structured product development processes
Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers under guidance from senior engineers
Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
Graduate Project Engineer – Skills & Experience
Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
Strong understanding of core engineering principles
Interest in project engineering, manufacturing and product development
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
