Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Westminster (September Start)
Location: Westminster, Central London Start Date: September 2025 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Contract: Long-term agency placement Pay: £90-£105 per day
ANZUK is working with fantastic Westminster-based primary schools that are looking for driven and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across all year groups. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience before pursuing a teaching qualification.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the teacher with lesson activities, working with small groups to raise attainment, and supporting pupils during SATs preparation. You'll become a valued part of the school community, gaining hands-on classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
* Support small group activities in Literacy and Numeracy
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Offer tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree and/or experience working with children
* Aspirations to become a teacher or work in education long-term
* Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
* A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
