Groundworks Supervisor

Supervise groundworks operatives, plant operators, and subcontractors

* Carry out hands-on groundworks duties (e.g. drainage, foundations, concrete, Landscaping.

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, RAMS, and permits

* Plan and coordinate daily site activities and resources

* Read and interpret drawings and specifications

* Liaise with site managers, engineers, and clients

* Monitor progress, quality, and productivity

* Conduct toolbox talks and site briefings

* Complete site paperwork (daily diaries, reports, permits)

Typical Works Involved

* Drainage and ducting

* Foundations and concrete works

* Excavations and trenching

* Kerbing, tarmacing, reinstatement

* Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor / Ganger / Foreman

* Strong background in civil engineering or groundworks

* SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)

* CSCS Card (Gold/Black preferred)

* First Aid – desirable

* Ability to read drawings and manage teams

* Good leadership and communication skills
