Group Finance Manager

They are now looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function across multiple entities within the group. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain full visibility across the business, and play a key role in shaping how finance supports future growth.
The group currently consists of four businesses. As such, the position offers a unique mix of structured financial management and exciting growth projects, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both stability and building something new.
This is a hands-on and influential role where you will have the opportunity to drive improvements, introduce automation, and enhance financial reporting processes across the group. For the right person, this position offers genuine progression and the chance to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of monthly management accounts across multiple group entities
Variance analysis including month-on-month and year-on-year reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Oversight of VAT and tax reporting
Working closely with external auditors and accountants
Supporting financial planning and forecasting activities
Producing financial reports and insights for senior leadership
Oversight and improvement of transactional finance processes
Managing and monitoring factoring facilities
Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, automation and reporting processes
Supporting the continued growth and development of the finance function
Systems & Environment
Experience using QuickBooks would be highly beneficial

We are looking for someone who is:
Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or strong QBE
Experienced producing management accounts
Comfortable working across multiple entities or group structures
Strong with analysis, reconciliations and financial reporting
Detail-oriented with excellent financial control discipline
Someone who enjoys improving processes and building structure
Confident communicating with senior leadership and external advisors
