Oversee the in-house production of statutory accounts, coordinating with divisional finance teams to ensure consistency, accuracy and quality. Accounting policy : Ownership of the group's accounting policy, ensuring maintenance of an up-to-date accounting policy manual. Tax Compliance:
Review corporation tax returns and collate supporting information to facilitate timely and accurate submissions. Act as a primary liaison with the group's external tax advisors. Transfer Pricing:
Maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Company Secretarial Duties:
Day-to-day management of company secretarial responsibilities, including statutory filings and governance obligations. Project Work:
Contribute to ad hoc projects, providing financial expertise and ensuring alignment with the group's objectives. Experience Required: Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA qualification) Strong current technical knowledge of FRS102 and tax regulations Hands-on experience regarding complex group consolidations, financial reporting, statutory audits and tax compliance (ideally financial services, however not essential) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems, including Excel and accounting packages (ideally Oracle Netsuite, but not essential) High level of attention to detail and practical problem-solving competence Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong management/coaching skills This truly is a great opportunity to join a business at the perfect time, small enough to have a real impact but big enough to have the resources needed to grow.
