The focus of the role will be the preparation of consolidated monthly and year-end accounts (plus the year-end audit of the Group) and development of financial control reporting for the Board, as well as providing support on transfer pricing, the Group cash flow forecast, etc.

Profile Criteria:

1. Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate with solid / extensive post-qualification work experience, preferably from the investment management or financial services sector
2. Well-rounded finance accounting skills covering hands-on involvement with financial control, the yearly audit, transfer pricing / tax compliance, core month-end processes, knowledge of technical accounting / development of accounting policy, automation and process improvement, etc.
3. Group consolidation experience and strong understanding of accounting principles
4. Must be a confident, hands-on, experienced and technically confident / sound professional accountant with excellent problem-solving, horizon/future planning, task setting and review experience
5. Excellent communication skills and a social personality

Responsibilities / Tasks / Remit:

• Leading the month-end close and preparation of monthly consolidated Group accounts
• Financial control reporting
• Group cash flow forecast
• Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and management of the year-end audit
• Transfer pricing and other Group tax considerations
• Oversight of co-investment vehicle – administration and preparation of accounts, tax and loan scheme
• Develop and maintain Group accounting policies and procedures
• Automation of accounts consolidation and reporting using technology
• Identify and implement improvements to drive more robust and efficient operational processes for financial reporting
• Support strategic projects and other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
