About You and the Role As Head Bartender at Adalana, you will: Lead the day-to-day bar service, ensuring consistency, quality, and warmth at all times Create and refine a drinks menu that complements the brasseries Northern European-inspired cuisine Train and inspire our Bartenders and Bar Backs, sharing your knowledge and setting high standards in both service and presentation Build strong relationships with guests, offering genuine recommendations and upselling with care Manage stock levels, support ordering, and maintain excellent cleanliness and organisation across the bar Work closely with the Restaurant Managers and wider team to shape and elevate the overall guest experience Ideally have experience using Micros or similar systems Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an opening team where your ideas and leadership will help shape the experience from day one.

About The Newman The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy Adalana, our all-day brasserie inspired by Northern European flavours, and Gambit, our cocktail bar with a local, seasonal edge. The hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
