Clapham
area of London. Our client is launching a vibrant neighbourhood café with the ambition of becoming a
prime brunch destination , serving
elevated breakfast classics with a modern twist . They are now looking for a talented
Head Chef
to lead the kitchen from launch and play a key role in shaping the food offering. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and driven chef who loves brunch culture and wants the chance to help build something from the ground up. As Head Chef, you will take ownership of the kitchen, from menu development through to building and leading your team. Youll be instrumental in creating a standout brunch menu focused on high-quality ingredients and modern takes on breakfast favourites, helping establish the café as a go-to spot in the local area. Key Responsibilities Leading the kitchen team and managing day-to-day operations
Developing and delivering a creative brunch-focused menu
Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation standards
Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Ensuring high standards of food safety and kitchen organisation
Working closely with the ownership team to establish the cafés food identity
About You Previous experience as a
Head Chef
or strong
Senior Sous Chef
ready to step up
Background in brunch cafés, modern casual dining, or quality all-day dining concepts
Passion for
elevated breakfast dishes and contemporary brunch menus
Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
A hands-on approach with a passion for quality ingredients
The Package Salary up to £40,000 + tronc
