The Head Chef: Current Head Chef leading a small team in a quality fresh food site, preferably at a Gastro or a restaurant with a focus on British seasonal food. Be a chef happy turning out a perfect core menu, whilst also keeping an interesting specials board and Theme days. Leadership skills to be able to inspire and drive a kitchen team by example with attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage workload effectively This is a small team so its very much a hands on role Experience working within margins and costings to run a profitable business but with a creative brain to come up with new dishes within budget. A solid understanding of all UK food hygiene, health and safety, fire safety and employment laws.
