The Marazion Hotel & Cutty Sark Bar & Restaurant Cornwall
We are a small, independent hotel and restaurant in the heart of Marazion, known for our warm welcome and consistently high standards. We have a thriving restaurant with loyal repeat trade, a 70-seat outside beer garden with its own summer bar and are renowned locally for our Sunday Roasts served all day (12pm 7:30pm), alongside a popular menu including our top-selling fish & chips and daily specials.
Trading Pattern
MonFri: Lunch & Dinner | Sat: Dinner only | Sun: All-day (12pm7:30pm)
Closed Christmas Day & 2 weeks in January for
holidays
Kitchen & Team
Well-equipped kitchen including: 2 Rational ovens, 2 4-burner gas stoves, gas char-grill, 2 double fryers, Robot Coupe, KitchenAid mixer & jug blender, 2 microwaves, plate warmer, 7 counter fridges (2 with saladettes), 2 upright fridges, 3 upright freezers, 2 chest freezers.
Team: Sous Chef, 2 Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, 3 Kitchen Porters
The Role
Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team
Manage staffing across quiet and busy periods
Drive service across restaurant and outdoor dining areas
Develop seasonal menus and specials
Maintain food preparation, presentation, and consistency standards
Manage stock, ordering, and GP margins
Ensure full food safety and hygiene compliance
Work closely with front of house to deliver a great guest experience
Team & Culture
