We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a stunning countryside wedding and events venue. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who thrives in delivering high-end banqueting and bespoke wedding dining experiences. You'll take full ownership of the kitchen operation, delivering beautifully presented, seasonal menus for weddings and private events, while leading a motivated brigade in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

The Role
Deliver exceptional food for bespoke wedding menus and large banquets (100+ covers)
Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless delivery of each wedding
Manage and develop your kitchen team, including rotas and performance
Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
Maintain strict food safety, allergen compliance, and hygiene standards
Manage food costs and labour budgets to achieve commercial targets
Ensure consistency, presentation, and timing are flawless for every event
About You
Proven experience as a Head Chef
Background in wedding catering, banqueting, or high-volume events
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate under pressure
Confident delivering for large-scale, time-sensitive services
Passion for seasonal, high-quality food and presentation
Strong organisational and financial awareness (GP, stock, labour control)
Calm, professional, and detail-focused approach
