Head Chef – Events Compnay (London CPU) Salary from £60,000 + Bonus + 33 Days Holiday (incl. We are looking for an ambitious Head Chef to lead our High profile Events company and oversee the delivery of exceptional food across an exciting portfolio of events — from spectacular historic venues and bespoke private celebrations to high-profile corporate functions and large-scale mobile events that may run over several days. This is a rare opportunity for a chef who combines hands-on leadership with meticulous organisation , someone who understands that great food at scale comes from strong systems, detailed specifications, disciplined kitchens and empowered teams . The Role As Head Chef, you will lead a core, experienced and dedicated full-time brigade , ensuring every dish leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards of consistency, quality and presentation. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the processes, budgets, food costs, structure and training that allow the team to deliver outstanding food time and time again — whether in our production kitchen or at prestigious venues across the UK and beyond. Expect a role that keeps you engaged, challenged and travelling , working with some of the world's most prestigious brands and companies . Key Responsibilities Leading and inspiring a skilled full-time kitchen team from our London CPU
Maintaining rigorous kitchen discipline and management standards
Creating and implementing detailed recipes, systems and production specifications
Ensuring consistent quality control across all events and productions
Training, mentoring and delegating effectively within the brigade
Overseeing large in-house venue catering, bespoke events and multi-day external productions
Working collaboratively with operations and event teams to ensure seamless delivery
Maintaining a hands-on leadership style while driving continuous improvement
Troubleshooting and managing last minute changes What We're Looking For A highly organised, meticulous and process-driven chef
Proven experience managing large-scale events, production kitchens or premium catering operations
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first mentality
Passion for systems, consistency and operational excellence
Confidence managing complex logistics and multi-day events
A calm, disciplined approach to kitchen management and quality control
Ambition to grow with a company delivering world-class events
