Known for bold, flavour-led food with East Coast American influence, we operate in one of the most iconic coastal settings in the UK. Alongside our busy seasonal trade, LULA has built a strong and growing reputation for weddings and large private events, hosting celebrations in a truly unique beach setting. We are now entering a new phase of growth, with a wider hospitality project in development that will expand our offering over the coming years. We are looking for a Head Chef who wants to play a leading role in that journey. *Accommodation* Shared accommodation is available for the right candidate, positioned overlooking Gwithian Beach. This is an opportunity for someone who values both career progression and lifestyle. *The Role* As Head Chef, you will: * Lead all kitchen operations at LULA * Develop and evolve seasonal menus aligned with our bold, flavour-led concept * Deliver high-quality weddings and large-scale events alongside busy summer service * Drive GP performance and maintain strong food margins * Recruit, train and build a motivated kitchen team * Contribute to menu direction as the wider hospitality project evolves This role requires someone confident managing both high-volume service and the organisation and detail required for weddings. *What We’re Looking For* * Proven experience as Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up * Experience delivering weddings or large-scale events * Strong leadership and team management skills * Commercial awareness and solid GP control * Calm under pressure during peak season * Someone looking for long-term involvement in a growing brand *What We Offer* * Competitive salary (dependent on experience) * Shared beachside accommodation * A leadership role within a growing hospitality brand * Creative input into future development * A genuine coastal lifestyle opportunity This is not just another Head Chef position.
