Duties Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food production Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences Oversee all food preparation activities, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and quality Manage food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills in food preparation, cooking, and service Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth Experience Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive food production and culinary experience across various cuisines Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of staff Demonstrable expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills In-depth knowledge of kitchen safety standards and food hygiene regulations Previous restaurant experience with a focus on high-quality service delivery Experience serving customers directly is advantageous but not essential; however, understanding hospitality operations is important Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively This role is ideal for a dedicated culinary professional eager to lead a talented team while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
