Head Chef Gastro Pub South Harrow, London £45,000 + Bonus + Live-In Option Location: South Harrow, London Salary: £50,000 per year (Base + Tronc) + Bonus Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Live-In: Available (not included in salary) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Head Chef to join our fantastic independent gastro pub in South Harrow, London. Were proud to serve fresh, seasonal food with a focus on quality, creativity, and consistency. Our pub features a wood-fired pizza oven in our garden experience with this is a bonus, not essential. We also cater for events and private functions, so experience in volume cooking and managing multiple service types is highly desirable. The Role: Lead and inspire a small but skilled kitchen team Oversee the preparation and delivery of fresh, seasonal dishes Take ownership of kitchen performance, cost controls, and hygiene standards Drive revenue through menu innovation and high standards Manage kitchen operations during events and peak trading periods Support recruitment, training, and team development What Were Looking For: Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready for a step up Strong knowledge of seasonal British ingredients Experience in high-volume pub kitchens and event catering Passion for great food, team leadership, and customer satisfaction Flexibility, creativity, and a hands-on approach Experience with a pizza oven is a plus Benefits: Competitive salary: £45,000 per year (base + tronc) Bonus scheme based on performance Live-in accommodation available (separate from salary) Uniform provided Meals on duty Supportive and friendly team environment Annual staff party and company events Opportunities for progression within a growing independent group If youre a passionate chef ready to take the lead in a busy, well-loved gastro pub with a great local reputation, wed love to hear from you.
