Are you a Kitchen Manager or a Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career? We are looking for a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager who has a great range of experience working in fresh food gastro pubs or casual dinning restaurants to join our team.
The Fountain & Ink is a modern British pub in the heart of South Bank. Just a short walk from the National Theatre, The BFI Film Theatre and the Southbank Centre. It's the perfect place for drinks and dinner after a day of culture at one of the many nearby theatres and galleries on the South Bank. When it comes to food, think sumptuous small plates, stunning seasonal specials, and hearty gastropub classics to match the seasons. Sundays are dedicated to the best roasts in Southwark and a huge opportunity for growth as we enter the autumn and winter months.
You Are: An enthusiastic, dynamic Chef who is ready for a new challenge.
Able to demonstrate your experience of working with fresh ingredients and seasonal menus.
Able to demonstrate experience of working in a professional kitchen showing a clear understanding of Health and Safety.
Able to show a proven track record of managing the kitchen and controlling stock and GP.
Able to show technical skill and attention to detail
Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
Confident in your communication skills and ability to lead and motivate their teams.
