The Role
As Head Chef, you’ll lead a motivated team, create a seasonal and inclusive menu, and showcase local produce. You’ll have hands-on responsibility for maintaining high standards, managing costs and inspiring the team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and update a creative, seasonal menu
Plan daily and weekly specials
Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team
Maintain efficient kitchen procedures
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food hygiene and health & safety
Manage food costs and contribute to profit targets
Requirements
Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
Proven kitchen leadership in a busy environment
Supportive, inspiring management style
Up-to-date knowledge of food safety (Level 3 Food Safety Award preferred)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Hours
Full-time, 5 or 4 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays, with potential for increased flexibility as the team grows.
