At Hampton Care Home , we believe every day should be meaningful filled with laughter, connection, and purpose. As our Head of Activities, youll lead a small team and help shape vibrant days for our residents by designing and delivering creative, engaging and inclusive activities that support their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

• Leading, mentoring and supporting the activities team to deliver a varied weekly programme
• Planning and running meaningful activities that are tailored to residents interests and abilities
• Organising outings and inviting entertainers, speakers and community visitors into the home
• Working with the Home Manager to manage an annual budget and evaluate activity success
• Collaborating with care teams to ensure activity plans are aligned with residents care needs
• Recording participation and outcomes in residents care plans and activity logs
• Building warm, trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Holding regular meetings with residents to gather feedback and plan future events
• Supporting the wider team with seasonal events, staff activities and wellbeing initiatives
• Conducting regular supervisions and appraisals with your team

What youll bring:

• Experience working with older people in a care or wellbeing setting
• Great leadership skills and the confidence to plan, delegate and inspire
• A creative and energetic approach with plenty of ideas to share
• The ability to adapt activities to different interests, abilities and personalities
• Excellent communication and people skills warm, inclusive and encouraging
• A flexible, can-do attitude and a real passion for making peoples days brighter
