We are looking for a strong Head of Sales to drive our global wholesale business. The successful candidate will have excellent industry contacts, a proven track record in sales, creative and analytical skills along with a dynamic approach.
This is a unique opportunity to work across a mix of product categories - handbags and accessories, the Anya LIFE lifestyle collection, the travel focussed Labelled collection and a selection of creative activations. Each of these brand pillars have dedicated stores at The Village and are proven and poised for distribution growth.
THE BRAND
Anya Hindmarch founded her business in London in 1987 and it has since grown into a global brand. Alongside the beautiful seasonal collections which celebrate leather work and impeccable design, the Anya Hindmarch brand includes Anya Hindmarch Bespoke a line up of beautifully crafted, personalisable designs; the Labelled collection, which grew from Anyas obsession with organisation and love of labelling each piece is designed for a specific purpose; ANYA LIFE, the brands playful home and lifestyle collection, a line up of designs to animate your space; and Anya Hindmarch food, delicious and delectable fare with an Anya twist. The brand has also released two hugely successful knitwear collections in collaboration with Uniqlo.
The Village on Pont Street in Londons Chelsea, opened in 2021, is a community of neighbouring stores and a caf. It is a place for the brand to connect with its customers, to engage with projects it cares about and invite in collaborators. So far, The Village Hall has played host to numerous concepts that include a Peanuts stationery store, the cult Ice Cream Project and a Christmas grotto each year for 2500 children. At the Anya Cafe, a selection of drinks, lunch, cakes and afternoon tea are served with a twist of the brands trademark humour.
Establish and execute a strong global commercial strategy to drive wholesale opportunities and revenue
Identify new business opportunities on an ongoing basis for all collections and capsules
Develop and manage relationships with key wholesale partners
Negotiate and establish seasonal and yearly targets, terms and conditions per account
Work with marketing team to ensure the brand is represented in the appropriate way, supported by relevant activities and editorial opportunities.
Ensure all partners receive regular brand and collection training and comms
Keep the Exec team updated on performance and opportunities
Work alongside a US based Wholesale Manager and our team in Japan
Significant experience in a wholesale/retail environment
Fluent spoken and written English. Additional languages would be an advantage especially Italian.
Willing to travel
Computer literate and competent in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of SAP and JOOR an advantage
