At Hampton Care Home , we believe every day should be meaningful filled with laughter, connection, and purpose. As our Head of Activities, youll lead a small team and help shape vibrant days for our residents by designing and delivering creative, engaging and inclusive activities that support their physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
Role: Head of Activities
Location: Hampton Care Home,Upper Sunbury Road, Hampton, TW12 2DW
50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend events
From craft afternoons and gardening to music therapy, reminiscence sessions and exciting trips out, youll make sure theres always something to look forward to.
Organising outings and inviting entertainers, speakers and community visitors into the home
Collaborating with care teams to ensure activity plans are aligned with residents care needs
Recording participation and outcomes in residents care plans and activity logs
Building warm, trusting relationships with residents and their families
Holding regular meetings with residents to gather feedback and plan future events
Supporting the wider team with seasonal events, staff activities and wellbeing initiatives
Conducting regular supervisions and appraisals with your team
Experience working with older people in a care or wellbeing setting
A creative and energetic approach with plenty of ideas to share
A flexible, can-do attitude and a real passion for making peoples days brighter
