Recruitment Delivery Team Leader - Talent Solutions UK
Head of Commercial Sales
Location: Flexible across the UK, with monthly travel to a central office location in Coventry
Salary: Circa £60,000 basic plus unlimited performance bonus and car allowance
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Head of Commercial Sales to lead and accelerate the growth of their national maintenance business. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in expanding revenue, margin, and market share-particularly within the corporate sector.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of building and managing a high-performing sales team, developing innovative sales strategies, and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an ambitious growth strategy to expand the business and increase market share.
- Build, lead, and inspire a team of regional sales managers to consistently exceed performance targets.
- Optimise sales operations and streamline processes using CRM tools to maximise pipeline efficiency and revenue.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders, representing the business at events and industry forums.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing successful sales teams, ideally within the service sector (although other industries will be considered).
- Proven ability to secure new business and drive strategic growth across multiple markets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the credibility to engage at senior client levels.
- Commercially astute and innovative, with a track record of translating market insight into actionable strategy.
