About the Role Level: 6

You will be responsible for developing the business plan for our integrated financial planning and investment management services, focusing on business opportunities related to company sales, entrepreneurs requiring personal and professional financial planning, and specialist advice into accountancy, actuarial, and tax consultancy businesses. Additionally, you will lead in developing and pitching for new business. Qualified in your own right, you will possess deep expertise and empathy in dealing with end clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Proposition team to design and deliver a market-leading range of propositions for Quilter Cheviot, including pricing and promotion strategies for professionals.
Act as the company's spokesperson in the media post-launch and seek continual improvements to maintain a market-leading position.
Work with the Head of Business Development to develop and execute the annual business plan, identifying opportunities to expand relationships with professionals in this field.
Gather regional and London office specialists to pitch for business, acting as the lead expert.
Participate fully in the pitch process with end clients, working alongside specialist investment managers and financial planners who will manage mandates and provide ongoing advice.
Develop and deliver training on divorce services across the business.
Consumer Duty This role will impact customer outcomes by identifying target markets and ensuring propositions meet their needs. You will work with proposition teams to ensure offerings remain aligned and appropriate.
SMCR Roles This is a Certification role requiring relevant qualifications (Function 4).
About You
Highly collaborative with significant gravitas.
Proven experience dealing with deputies and personal injury lawyers, whether as a lawyer, investment manager, financial planner, or in a related business development role.
Business development experience, including pitching with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Professional qualifications in Investment Management or Financial Planning as specified by regulatory authorities.
Numerical skills with an understanding of pricing in personal injury wealth management.
