Head of Engineering South East England New Site Build – Established Food Manufacturer £90,000 - £110,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to join a dynamic and growing business at an exciting stage of its journey, supporting the development of a brand-new site in Kent. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for engineering and facilities, focused on delivering a high-performing, reliable, and future-ready operation. You will lead engineering strategy, automation, and digitalisation initiatives, ensuring assets operate safely, efficiently, and in line with long-term business goals. As part of the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping overall business performance - driving improvements in productivity, cost, sustainability and operational excellence. You’ll be responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering team, embedding a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement, while managing budgets, capital investment and key projects. We’re looking for:

A proven engineering leader from a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment Strong track record in asset reliability, automation, and continuous improvement Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering capital projects A strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑driven approach
