They are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead the development of their Fixed Income Risk technology platform. You will lead the build-out of sophisticated risk and margining systems that support complex fixed income products and directly influence trading and risk strategies across the firm. Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive the engineering strategy for Fixed Income Risk technology, building low-latency, scalable systems in Python. Oversee the design and delivery of margin engines, stress testing frameworks, and real-time risk management tools. Collaborate closely with trading, quant, and risk teams to ensure the technology fully supports front office decision-making and regulatory requirements. Champion engineering excellence, mentoring and growing a team of talented developers. Play a key role in shaping the firms technology roadmap and contributing to its competitive edge in the prime brokerage space. Key Requirements: 7+ years of experience in engineering or quantitative development within trading, risk management, or prime brokerage. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing high-performing engineering teams. Expert Python developer, with deep knowledge of building robust, production-grade systems. Strong domain expertise in Fixed Income products including treasuries, mortgage-backed securities, interest rate swaps, futures, and repo markets. Solid quantitative background in risk modeling, margin methodologies, and data analysis. Excellent academic credentials in a STEM discipline (Bachelors degree or higher).
