HEAD OF FINANCE Caravan Restaurants & Coffee Roasters London – Lambworks (Caledonian Road) About Caravan Caravan is a pioneering all‑day dining restaurant and specialty coffee business with nine restaurants and a North London roastery. Since opening our first site in Exmouth Market in 2010, we have built a brand known for globally inspired food, exceptional coffee and genuine hospitality. Today Caravan operates eight restaurants across London and one in Manchester, with further sites planned as we continue to grow. The role We’re looking for a Head of Finance to play a key role in how the business performs and grows. You’ll work closely with our Commercial Director and leadership team, helping to bring clarity to the numbers and turning them into insight that actually drives decisions. This is a hands‑on role, you’ll be in the detail when needed, but also stepping back to see the bigger picture and where we can improve. You’ll also lead and develop a high‑performing finance team – setting clear standards, building capability and creating a team that’s confident, accountable and really connected to the wider business. What you’ll be doing
Owning the monthly reporting cycle and delivering clear, accurate management accounts Strengthening financial controls and improving how we report and use data Partnering closely with Operations and leadership to drive performance Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Managing cashflow, treasury and financial risk Overseeing payroll processes alongside the People team Developing the finance team and building a strong, high‑performing culture Supporting new site openings and key business projects
Who we’re looking for
Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) Experience in a multi‑site business (hospitality or retail is a bonus) Commercially minded – you understand how the numbers connect to the reality of the business A team‑first leader who enjoys developing people and building strong teams Someone with a growth mindset – always looking at how things can be better, simpler or smarter Comfortable working at pace and getting stuck in Clear and confident communicator – able to bring people with you
