The Head of Farming is accountable for the creation and implementation of the Company's Farming business strategy in the short, medium, and longer term.
# Work in conjunction with the Head of Rural to implement effective business plans and vision.
# Be accountable for the delivery of the agreed strategy and driving high performance across the Farming department.
# Focus on cultivating existing clients and establishing new clients to promote business development.
# Manage own client relationships effectively.
# Oversee processes to manage risk, and to drive quality and profitability.
# Collaborate with the Head of Rural to develop a culture of process improvement through training, communication, and system development.
# Be accountable for the P&L of the Farming department.
# Ensure achievement of budgets and reforecasting for the department.
# Communicate financial information clearly to relevant stakeholders within the Farming department.
# Provide visionary and inspirational leadership.
# Actively communicate and promote the vision of the Company, rural, and farming businesses.
# Inspire, coach, mentor, and develop successors, including identifying top talent.
# Foster a culture of business development within the business line.
# Serve as a role model for organizational behavior across the business.
# Ensure overall client satisfaction and monitor the quality of business undertaken.
# Collaborate with the wider business to develop and execute regional and national business development plans.
