Verus Search has been retained by an award-winning and expanding IT services provider to appoint a Head of Growth. The company is embarking on a new chapter of development and is looking to appoint an accomplished commercial leader who will be responsible for driving sales performance, cultivating account growth, and enhancing brand recognition in line with overall strategic objectives and business targets. The Head of Growth will assume full responsibility for all sales, account management, and marketing activities. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive sales and growth strategy, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers, optimising opportunities within the existing client base, and reinforcing the company's presence in the market. This position requires both strategic foresight and practical leadership, encompassing direct sales execution, the development of effective processes, and collaborative work across various functions to ensure growth is achieved in a sustainable and customer-centric way. Working in close partnership with the Managing Director and the broader leadership team, the Head of Growth will play a pivotal role in establishing and embedding robust commercial processes and clear performance metrics. A disciplined, data-driven approach to decision making will be expected. Additionally, the Head of Growth will collaborate with an external marketing agency, managing activities and budgets to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with the business commercial priorities. Essential Criteria: Proven senior level experience in a growth, sales or commercial leadership role, with responsibility for developing and delivering sales and growth strategies in an IT services, technology solutions or digital platforms environment. Demonstrable track record of acquiring new customers and driving sustainable revenue growth within a B2B environment Strong experience of account management, with the ability to identify, develop and maximise opportunities within existing customer base Experience of leading and managing people, including setting objectives, monitoring performance and supporting development Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse performance, interpret data and use insight to inform decision making Experience of managing CRM systems, with a clear understanding of how accurate data supports forecasting, pipeline management and business planning The position comes with an attractive salary and a benefits package, designed to reward performance.
