Hours: 37 hours per week, 8.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday‑Thursday, 8.30 am – 4.00 pm Friday, 52 weeks per year (Onsite with one day per fortnight remote possibility).
Location: Huddersfield and surrounding areas, College campus near Huddersfield town centre.
Salary: £50,999 – £54,711 (Points 32‑35 of the Support Staff Pay Scale).

About the Role
The College is seeking a Head of IT & Digital Innovation to lead the Digital Services team and drive secure, future‑focused technology across the institution. The post holder will combine strategic vision with hands‑on experience, working closely with College leaders to deliver an innovative digital strategy aligned with the wider ambitions of the College.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the Digital Services team.
Drive digital innovation across the College, including emerging technologies and AI.
Own the reliability, security and performance of IT, MIS and digital platforms.
Champion cyber security, data protection and business continuity.
Support the College Leadership Team to deliver the College’s digital strategy.
Manage budgets, suppliers and major technology investments.
Ensure systems support outstanding teaching, learning and operations.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a strategic, forward‑thinking digital leader with a strong background in ICT systems, infrastructure and service delivery, and the ability to turn technology into meaningful impact across an organisation. Key attributes include:
