Profectus Recruitment is working exclusively with a fast-growing payments provider operating in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Operations to lead their day-to-day activities, ensure operational excellence and scale infrastructure across EV charging networks and digital platforms.

The Role You'll drive operational strategy, lead a high-performing team and ensure smooth, compliant payment processing. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for transaction processing, customer support, compliance, and operational transformation projects all while maintaining a seamless customer journey.

Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver operational strategy in line with growth plans and client needs. Oversee payments operations, reconciliation, settlement and customer support. Manage relationships with major payment gateways and acquirers (e.g., Adyen, Worldpay, Visa, Mastercard). Drive operational transformation projects, onboarding new EV clients and ensuring systems scalability. Ensure compliance with PSD2, PCI DSS, AML and other relevant regulations. Champion a high-performance culture across operations, compliance and customer service teams.
