Overview Lift Kingsley, Cecil Road, Hounslow, London, TW3 1AX, United Kingdom Hours: Full Time | Contract type: Permanent Start date: September 2026 We are looking to appoint a Head of Physics to lead and develop a key subject area within our ambitious and high performing Science faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality of education in Physics, leading on curriculum development, teaching and learning, and student outcomes across Key Stages 3 - 5. You will work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the faculty to ensure a consistently high standard of teaching, supporting staff development and driving excellence in the classroom. Responsibilities
Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 - 5 as an excellent classroom practitioner Lead a subject area and drive improvement Use data effectively to raise attainment and close gaps Contribute to curriculum design and high-quality teaching Coach, support and develop colleagues Promote high expectations and positive outcomes for all students

Qualifications and Attributes
Proven ability to teach Physics across Key Stages 3 - 5 Ambition and capability to lead a subject area and drive improvement Data-driven approach to raising attainment Strong understanding of curriculum design and high-quality teaching Ability to coach, support and develop colleagues Commitment to high expectations and positive outcomes for all students
