About you: We are recruiting for a talented and dedicated Headwaiter/Waitress, the role will be integral to the Front of House function, offering the perfect balance and contributing to all factors relating to the floor. The core of the role is to offer an attentive, professional, and personable fine dining experience to our exclusive and VIP guests. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to describing food menu, ingredients, have food allergy knowledge, polishing and generally been at the fore front of the Restaurant and welcoming all guests into the exclusive venue. Consistently providing exceptional table service, uphold the highest hospitality standards, and deliver an elevated dining experience for every guest and work cohesively as part of the Team. Working structure : Monday & Sunday are rest days. Tuesday and Thursday, your shift will start approximately from 4pm and last till approximately past 12am. Friday and Saturday, your shift will start approximately from 11am till last guest, may be from 12am and extended till 1am. You must be willing to work on a flexible basis. Responsibilities: Offering a warm welcome to all guests Greeting guests following our standards Processing guests reservations using the Seven Rooms service Liaising with the Front of House Team to ensure a smooth operation Excellent phone etiquette skills Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience with refined professionalism. Doing mise en place, explaining dishes, and providing knowledgeable recommendations on food and wine pairings. Accurately take and process food and beverage orders in accordance with guest preferences and dietary requirements. Coordinate with kitchen and beverage departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Serve dishes and beverages with precision, ensuring proper etiquette and sequence of service. Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and resolve issues with grace and excellent attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and organisation of tables and service areas. Maintain cleanliness of the lavatories. Prepare tables with proper settings, linens, glassware, and silverware to fine dining standards. Polishing silverware. Coordination of the Reception department on rotation. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Support Team members in maintaining a smooth, efficient dining room operation Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and ideas. Qualifications: Proven experience in Front of House in a Michelin starred Restaurant Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging personality Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Willingness to assist colleagues during busy periods Previous experience of using Sevenrooms Reservations system will be an advantage A genuine passion for delivering high-quality hospitality services Passion for creating memorable guests experiences and providing exceptional customer service Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment Strong knowledge of food & beverage and wine service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanour Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail Commitment to providing exceptional guest service Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; occasional lifting.
