As the Area Manager you will oversee operations across multiple sites rather than being based at a single location. You will also make periodic visits to our head office in Hale Barns, just outside Altrincham, Manchester. Your role will involve supporting and managing teams throughout the region, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and the highest standards of performance across all sites. Key Responsibilities will include: Provide day-to-day support to site managers on H&S matters. Visit your allocated sites to conduct regular audits to assess compliance standards. Proactively working with site managers to ensure safe working practices and procedures are implemented. Effectively communicating health and safety information throughout the organization. Support site managers with accident/incident investigations and carry out any investigations yourself where required. Demonstrating strong decision-making, problem-solving, and serve as an approachable contact for employees. Support the company Head of Health and Safety with the development and refinement of the companys H&S. Requirements : Level 3 Health and Safety qualification - with minimum 3 years post qualification experience. Food Safety qualification (desirable

as training can be provided). Experience with functioning in a multi-site operation. Strong working knowledge of Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Asbestos, Water Hygiene requirements. Strong IT skills - demonstrating the ability to extract data and use it. Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly. We are an equal opportunities employer.
