I am currently working with an excellent business based in the North of Manchester who are looking to bring a Health and Safety Coordinator into the business, they are ideally looking for someone who can identify process improvement opportunities within an already solid Health and Safety framework.\n\nThe Role:\n\n * Developing and continually reviewing company H&S policies and procedures to limit accidents and reporting mechanisms, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and HSE best practices.\n\n * Produce and maintain up to date H&S documentation including risk assessments, training logs, and accident reports.\n\n * Working closely with departmental managers and staff to ensure health and safety measures are practical and understood.\n\n * Ensure timely investigation of accidents, incidents and safety observations, tracking all correction actions to completion.\n\n * Onboarding new staff – ensuring Health and Safety training is delivered on day one.\n\n * Conduct environmental assessments.\n\n * Draft environmental procedures and policies.\n\n * Develop, implement and monitor Waste Management Plans.\n\n * Developing procedures for safe handling & storage of hazardous products.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n * Strong background in Health, Safety Management Systems and compliance.\n\n * Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be ideal.\n\n * Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality experience or qualifications – NEBOSH.\n\n * Excellent attention to details, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\n\nPackage:\n\n * Company Pension\n\n * On-site Parking\n\n * End of year bonus\n\n * Salary of £30-35k Annual bonus\n\nIf you are interested in this job role please submit your application, alternatively you can give us a call to be the first to apply\n\nDue to the large number of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
