Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

Our client based in Kirkintilloch is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their busy team. We are looking for experience so that you can run with this role to the highest of standard. Responsibilities:

\n

\n Strong knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation \n

Experience in safety, health, environment, and quality management \n

Previous experience in preparing and undertaking ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001audits \n

Excellent communicator at all levels and the functions of the business \n

Self-managed and motivated \n

Attention to detail \n

Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are essential \n

Good level of PC literacy, Microsoft Office and online portals \n

Maintain strict confidentiality \n

Excellent references \n

Strong organisational skills \n

Team-working skills \n

Able to prepare for annual audits \n

Complete site-specific RAMS \n

Complete COSHH assessments \n

Arranging Training courses and ensuring all training is up to date \n

Accident and incident investigation and follow up actions. \n

Compiling Construction Phase Plans and Traffic management plans \n

Risk Assessments and Method statements \n

COSHH assessments \n

Subcontractor management \n

Office health safety & fire management (first aid boxes, extinguishers, fire alarms etc) \n

H&S questions and queries \n

H&S Inductions for new engineers \n

H&S meetings \n

Inducting new staff & sub-contractors \n

Toolbox talks \n

Updating portal compliance (Constructionline, Safe Contractor, Avetta) \n

\n

Requirements

\n

\n Health and safety: 2 years \n

CSCS (Desirable) \n

IOSH membership (or willing to achieve) \n

Minimum NEBOSH National General Certificate or Construction certificate \n

Full Driving Licence \n

\n

\n ISO 9001 experience (Desirable) \n

ISO14001 experience (Desirable) \n

ISO 45001experience (Desirable) \n

CDM 2015 awareness \n

Experience in compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements \n

Experience in compiling COSHH Assessments \n

\n
