Im working with a leading main contractor who is looking to appoint aHealth & Safety Advisorto join their team on a project based in Macclesfield.ThisHealth & Safety Advisorrole will be site-based, supporting project teams and helping drive a strong health & safety culture across live works. The successfulHealth & Safety Advisorwill work closely with site management and report into the HSE Manager.This is a hands-onHealth & Safety Advisorrole, suited to someone who is comfortable being out on site, engaging with teams and adding value to projects.Duties:Work as aHealth & Safety Advisorsupporting site teams on live projectsCarry out site inspections and auditsAssist with incident investigations when requiredProvide practical health & safety advice to project teamsAttend site meetings and support project start-upsDeliver toolbox talks and basic training where requiredSupport the HSE Manager with reporting and complianceRequirements:Experience working as aHealth & Safety Advisorwithin constructionMinimum 3 years experience in a similar roleNEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)Tech IOSH (or working towards)Strong site presence and communication skillsAbility to engage with site teams and influence behaviourGood organisational skills and attention to detailThisHealth & Safety Advisorrole would suit someone looking to develop their career within a busy contractor, gaining exposure across live construction projects.JBRP1_UKTJ
