As an organisation we have been involved in ‘keeping people safe’ for more than 100 years, with our roots established in providing mines rescue services. The reducing requirement for mines rescue has led the business to diversify. Today we are a leading provider of health and safety training with a focus on delivering training and rescue services for those hat work in high-risk environments. The business may have changed, however, our purpose continues to be ‘keeping people safe.’
*The Ideal Candidate*
This is a new site for MRS Training and Rescue (MRS), and we are looking for the right people to assist in building our presence in the area. For those that choose to joint MRS you will have the opportunity to shape the development of the new site, and the way we deliver training.
Ideally you will have relevant teaching experience and knowledge, including:
* A training qualification L3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent. * Teaching experience which is relevant (6160 suite of Confined Space, Working at Height, First Aid etc.) * An assessing qualification, L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent. * Industry knowledge and experience. * Qualified in English and Mathematics to a minimum of level 2. * IT skills which will support the delivery of training and the development of training material. * Full UK driving licence.

*Arrangements*
* Salary in the range of £33,637.50 to £40,000 dependent on qualifications and experience, for a 40-hour week\*.
In addition to the salary there are other benefits, which include:

\* excludes 30 minutes unpaid lunch each day

*Work Location / Schedule*
* Based at the Warrington Site * Monday to Friday\*\*\* * Generally in the hours 8am to 5pm (flexibility may be required to meet customer requirements)
\*\*\* some weekend work may be required to meet customer needs, where required, time off in lieu will be given
