About The Role We are looking for an experienced and professional Service Driver to join our market leading company

Purpose of Role As a key worker working in our Healthcare Division, you play a key part in the success of phs. Being an experienced Class 1 Service Driver in our Healthcare division, your responsibilities will include service (collection & disposal) of health-related waste products ranging from Pharmaceutical, Non-Hazardous Waste & Hazardous Clinical (Sharps, Orange Bags etc). The role is both internal and external facing, with daily interface with depots, customers & suppliers.

Key Responsibilities You will follow planned routes, using PDA devices to confirm collections and manage any site access issues. We use in-cab technology but if you can operate a satellite navigation device and a smart phone, you will have no problem with these. Utilise double deck trailer and tractor unit combinations to complete bin exchanges on site, collecting full and leaving empty bins. Complete hazardous consignment notes & transfer notes on your PDA. Utilise 40-foot trailer and tractor unit combinations to transfer waste to tipping sites across the Northwest of England . You will return to your allocated depot every day.
