This is a Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Workshop Technician/Trainee Tutor post for a qualified and experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic. The position is based at a motor vehicle apprentice training centre in Nottingham.
Are you a fully qualified and time served Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/HGV Technician? Could you be interested in a Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Workshop Technician/Trainee Tutor position? We are looking for an experienced candidate from industry that is interested in working in an education setting as a technician. Teacher training can be provided if you wish to progress from a workshop technician into a tutor.
Package and Benefits:-
£37,200 Starting Salary
£40,000 - £45,000 Teacher Salary Scale if you choose to progress later
Full teacher training and qualification provided

Essential experience and qualifications:-
- You must be a fully Qualified technician with a level 3 qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years working in industry.
- A keen interest to work in education.
Job Description:-
Full Time Hours Monday to Friday.
Permanent Contract.
* Maintain the workshop areas
* Employ safe working practices and comply with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
* Maintain and replenish First Aid boxes throughout the designated workshops
