We are looking for a Class 2 HIAB driver to join our home delivery team for our customer, Wickes . You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customers products.
This is a temp position for our peak period ending approx September 2026. You will be starting at 07:00, Monday to Friday , with additional Saturdays during the 10-week peak period which will be completed VIA a rota. You will be based at the home store but collecting & delivering out of surrounding area's and stores.
Successful candidates with be required to pass a DBS search
What youll do on a typical day:
You will typically complete an average of 5-10 deliveries per day
Delivering bulk items to customers homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores
Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business
Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage
Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently
HIAB licence
ALLMI C5 Licence - conversions and refreshers provided GXO funded alongside a training agreement.
