HGV Class 1 ADR DriverPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment.The driver will be responsible for driving Class 1 tankers and will be required to do nights out. ADR experience is not required as training will be provided.This is a temp-to-perm role, and the driver will be offered a contract after 12 weeks.This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.Shifts   Monday to Friday  04:00 – 06:00am start times Rates of Pay   £19.00 per hour  £26.20 night out allowance Benefits  Temp to perm for the right candidate  Ongoing work  Weekly pay  Training provided  Immediate startsDay-to-Day DutiesAs a HGV Class 1 Driver ADR, your duties will include (but not be limited to):  Safely transporting goods to client sites  Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently  Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks  Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures  Communicating effectively with the transport office  Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptlyEssential SkillsTo be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver ADR, you will need:  A valid UK Category CE licence  A minimum of 18 month's experience driving Category CE vehicles  An in-date ADR licence (training can be provided if required)  No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes  A valid UK CPC card and Digi card  Good spoken and written English  Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills  A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations  Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience   Previous commercial driving experience Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Driver ADR, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
