The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tonbridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Shifts: Typically Monday to Friday

Hours:

9am start typically, average of 10-12 hour shifts

Pay Rate:

£15.36 per hour PAYE

Location: Tonbridge, TN12

The role:

Securely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units. Multi-drop delivery - average of 15- 20 drops/collections Drivers will be required to load and unload the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 6 months minimum experience required No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
