HGV Class 1 Driver

Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting for reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver s to join our team for ADHOC work.
Requirements: Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence , CPC , and Digital Tachograph Card .

Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

Must have appropriate PPE , including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

Must be comfortable with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems .

Job Details: Start times: Typically between 04:00 and 07:00 AM .

Part-time position must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

Shift length: Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed ).

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour .

Key Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Strong understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Flexible and able to adapt to different delivery routes and customers.
