Job Description:
Synergise Recruitment are supporting a well-established refrigerated transport business with two key areas of operation. Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers (Refrigerated Transport, Adhoc Shifts)
Start Location: Bridgwater
Shifts: Adhoc / Flexible
1. Local Transport South West Region
Youll be collecting frozen and chilled goods from suppliers and cold stores across the Southwest. This includes:
Multi-pickup work
Managing temperature-controlled products
Regular interaction with small and medium local suppliers
A mix of Class 1 and Class 2 work depending on the shift
What Youll Be Doing
Driving a Class 1 or Class 2 temperature-controlled vehicle
Managing chilled/frozen loads and ensuring correct temperature checks
Completing paperwork, PODs, and following customer procedures
Communicating with transport teams to keep runs efficient and on time
Ensuring a safe, compliant, professional approach at all times
What Were Looking For
Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
Previous experience in refrigerated transport is ideal, but not essential
Able to work flexibly on adhoc shifts
Good communication and a solid work ethic
Comfortable with both local and national work depending on business needs
