HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire .

Shifts • Various shift patterns available • 24/7 operation Rates of Pay • £18.36 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen • Training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Delivery of goods from store to home and trunking work • Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secure before transport • Adhering to traffic laws and driving regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: • Valid UK Category CE Licence • Minimum of 24 months' experience driving CE vehicles • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping skills • Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations • Effective communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience • Multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided • Driver assessment required (including theory test) • One-week paid induction following a successful assessment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information. xbpsjku
