The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C&E Drivers) on behalf of EVRi Hub, Barnsley.

Hours: Choose your own days of work and start times by providing a 2-hour window from 15:00-02:00.

Please note you must be able to provide availability on a Friday OR Sunday ( This does not mean you will be working one of these days every week ).

Pay Rates: (PAYE DAYS): Monday to Friday £16.21, Saturday £17.87 & Sunday £18.20 (PAYE AFTERS): Monday to Friday £16.87, Saturday £18.29, Sunday £18.61 (PAYE NIGHTS): Monday to Friday £17.59, Saturday £20.69 & Sunday £21.96 PAYE Location: Barnsley, S74.

Job Type : Ongoing.

The role: Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels.

Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.

Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements: 1 years' experience required.

However, we do have other opportunities for drivers with limited experience.

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.

Full understanding of WTD legislation.
