About the Role

This is a slower-paced HGV Class 1 driving role, ideal for someone looking for a steady, predictable schedule and a chance to unwind while still staying active and involved. Youll be part of a supportive team, helping keep the site and vehicles in top condition, without the stress of constant high-pressure deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles to MOT and other locations as required

  • Collection and delivery of vehicles

  • Road test vehicles when requested

  • Maintain workshop housekeeping tidy bins, tools, and work areas

  • Yard tidying and vehicle parking

  • Perform basic site repairs and odd jobs

  • Conduct weekly checks (pits, ladders, lights, doors, etc.)

  • Other occasional duties as requested

Requirements

  • HGV Class 1 licence mandatory

  • Reliability and a good work ethic

  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely

  • Comfortable performing light site maintenance and yard duties
