Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
Shifts:Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time).
Hours:
  • Linehaul - Days, Afternoons and Nights

Pay Rate:
  • Linehaul- £17.75 - £18.25 per hour PAYE

Location: Darlington, DL1
Job Type:Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing.
The role:
  • Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
  • You may potentially be required to load and unload the vehicle using a tail lift or a pump truck
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 6 months minimum experience required
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
