HGV Class 1 Driver Temp to PermRole: HGV Class 1 Driver with occasional Class 2 workLocation: Welwyn Garden CityHGV Class 1 Pay Rate £19.50 increasing to £21.00 after 12 weeks plus overtime at time and a halfWorking Hours: 0800-16:45 Monday to Friday.Our client based in Welwyn Garden City is a supplier of Mediterranean food products using temperature-controlled vehicles to stores in and around London.HGV Class 1 Driver Responsibilities:- Trunking between Welwyn Garden City and Wembley- Occasional Class 2 driving working with a drivers mate to carry out 10-12 store deliveries.- Carry out vehicle inspections at the start of each shift and report any faults to the line manager- Debrief at the end of each dayHGV Class 1 driver, essential requirements:- Full UK Licence category C+E held for at least 1 year- Valid CPC and digi tacho card- Over 25 due to insurance- At least 6 months experience driving a Class 1 Truck in the last 12 monthsPosition starts on May 2026.Skills RequiredHGV, Class 1, Delivery, Customer ServiceJBRP1_UKTJ
