HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights – Tipton, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an

HGV Class 1 Driver

based in

Tipton, West Midlands

to join our well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay, and real prospects for progression within a professional transport environment. Shifts • Monday to Friday

• Start time: 19:00

• Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift Rates of Pay • £18.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates

• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently

• Work primarily on double decker trailers

• Complete deliveries and collections as required

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and compliant

• Adhere to all UK traffic laws and transport regulations

• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers

• Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly

• Assist with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence

• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience

• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

• No more than six penalty points for minor offences

• Good level of written and spoken English

• Excellent punctuality and time management

• Strong understanding of UK road transport regulations

• Good communication skills Desirable Experience • Experience operating double decker trailers

• Previous commercial driving experience in similar roles Training Provided • Full industry-related training
