Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGVs on night trunking and general haulage routes
Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects promptly
Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and digital tachograph systems
Complete up to 23 drops per shift, primarily depot-to-depot or trunking runs- No handball
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and ensure compliance with driving regulations
Secure loads following health & safety best practices to ensure safe transport
Deliver excellent customer service representing the company professionally at all times
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, UK CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles
Maximum 9 points on licence; no DR or IN endorsements permitted
Comfortable working night shifts starting at 18:00
Strong knowledge of EU driving hours, WTD regulations, and health & safety standards
Good communication skills with a professional and reliable approach
